Chyonnah, 2023

Hello everyone, my name is Chyonnah Woodberry...this is my 2nd year with Excellence Girls Club. Excellence girls club is a place where every girl 12 and older from different schools can come out and meet other girls to talk about a lot of things and be comfortable with doing so. We get to make new friends, discuss different things about school, growing up and becoming young ladies. We also participate in several group outings and activities. This year we got to experience Virginia College Education Week at Hampton University, Virginia Union University, and Randolph Macon College. Afterwards we had a fun day at Kings Dominion. We also did volunteer work in Norfolk VA such as feeding the homeless. Over the years I've been with them I've seen and done so much with EGC, and appreciate all of the experiences. I appreciate our leaders and my peers. As young adults we all have learned to build each other up so that we become stronger and better. I really look forward to EGC next year!
