Excellence Girls Club was extremely valuable to me as a teenager. Going to a predominantly white high school didn't leave me with too many opportunities to connect with other black young ladies, but I was able to make those connections through EGC. I still think back fondly on the sisterhood, the retreats, the countless opportunities to be a leader, and the endless inspiration I got from Excellence Girls Club. I would greatly recommend any young woman to take part in this program!
